| Womens Ministries
The mission of Newport Foursquare Church Women's Ministry is to creatively nurture women to become worshipping, spirit-led, healthy, and holy daughters of the King who minister to our families, our church, and our communities through the teaching of the Word, through friendship, and by being godly examples.
Our goal is to be all that God desires us to be and to do all that God desires us to do.
WOW Women of the Word - Womens ministry meeting. Women of the church meet at the church once a month to hear a speaker share a time of prayer and socialize together. Call Linda Henderson, 541-875-2621
Ladies Intercessory Prayer - Ladies gather at the church every Thursday at 10AM to pray for the needs in our church as well as call on the Lord to come and intervene in the lives of those needing Jesus. Contact Kathy Tomson, 541-574-4300 for details.
Dorcas' Hands - This ministry is based on Acts 9, where a women named Dorcas was known for providing clothing to others. Meet at 7 PM on the second and fourth Monday of each month to create shawls, receiving blankets and baby apparel, then pray over those who will receive them. Beginning knitters and crocheters are welcome. For information, contact Morgan Rutherford, 541-265-7531.
A Mothers Heart - Mothers at home with children meet for fellowship and encouragement during the school year.
Childcare is provided at the meetings held at the church on a Tuesday morning each month from 9-11:15 AM. Contact Amy Pettis, 541-336-2560.
